How to Use Your
FeetFormers
Set Up Your FeetFormers
FeetFormers adapt to your foot through a placement that’s uniquely yours.
Watch the 47 second video or follow the steps below to find your fit.
Before You Begin
FeetFormers are intended for walking and everyday wear—not running or high-impact activity. Sit somewhere you can comfortably reach your feet and fully unzip your Arcs.
For the easiest setup and everyday use, we recommend wearing toe socks.
Find Your Fit
Remove the insole from your shoe. Place the FeetFormer between your toes so your toes hold it in position. Then lower your foot onto the insole—heel first, then toes—to place the FeetFormer according to your unique foot shape. Carefully lift your foot away without moving the FeetFormer.
With the FeetFormer still in position, press down and apply friction to each spacer. This 'primes' the hook-and-loop attachment and helps create a stronger bond with the insole. Make sure the FeetFormer remains in its original position, then return the insole to your shoe. Check that the insole lies flat without folding or bunching.
Sit down and fully unzip the shoe. Slowly guide your foot into the FeetFormer, beginning with your big toe. Once your big toe is in place, guide your remaining toes into position, gently scrunch forward, and settle your foot into the shoe.
How They Should Feel
FeetFormers should create noticeable but comfortable separation between your toes. They should feel snug, secure, and evenly positioned while
standing and moving.
They should not cause pinching, sharp pressure, numbness, or pain.
If something feels wrong, remove your foot and check that each toe is in the correct space and that the FeetFormer has not shifted.
Give Your Feet
Time to Adjust
FeetFormers may feel unfamiliar at first. Begin with shorter periods of wear and gradually increase your time as your feet adjust.
There is no need to push through discomfort. Remove them, check the placement, and try again later if your feet feel irritated or fatigued.
Choose the Right
Activities
FeetFormers are designed for walking and everyday movement. Avoid running, jumping, and other high-impact activities while wearing them.
Remove your FeetFormers before workouts or activities involving repeated impact, quick direction changes, or explosive movement.
Getting In and Out
Putting your shoes on
Sit down and fully unzip the shoe. Guide your big toe in first, followed by your remaining toes. Gently scrunch forward before settling your heel into the shoe.
Taking your shoes off
Fully unzip the shoe and slowly slide your foot backward. Avoid pulling your foot out abruptly, as this may shift the FeetFormer.
Cleaning and Care
Remove your FeetFormers from the shoes before cleaning. Clean them gently by hand with warm water and soap and allow them to air-dry completely before reinstalling them. Avoid exposing them to high heat.
